We have just finalized new designs for boys/girls hoodies and tshirts and although they wont be ready for the Eastern Leg of the upcoming tour, they WILL be ready for the Ontario Shows. ROADTRIP NATION:

Roadtrip Nation kicked off its forth season last week on PBS, and you will be able to hear Wassabi's music in upcoming episodes. The show sends a group of University students out in an RV in search of eclectic people who have resisted pressures to conform and who have become successful by following their own paths. In the past the show has featured music by Xavier Rudd and Jack Johnson. Check out their website to watch episodes or get more info www.roadtripnation.com/pbs .I will let you know which episodes will feature Wassabi as soon as I find out.

Between a month long tour on the East coast of Canada earlier this year and preparing for another, which includes a huge Canada day event at the Docks in Toronto with World stage talent of Femi Kuti and Soulive, this is a chance to catch them before they blow up. Maybe you know someone who holds Ayahusca Ceremonies personally, or know someone who may know someone. My old Friend Ana Young and I were talking about it at the last Wassabi Collective show in Courtenay BC 2 years ago. I have since lost her email and have lost touch with her. Any help would be great as I have been searching for a long time now with not much luck. Thanx for reading!

wassabi Live Download Shambhala2005

Just finished uploading our set at Shambhala Music Festival last summer on www.archive.org. It's available for download or you can stream it! It was a super fun show on the beach in the beautiful kootenay mountains, and is a much better representation of our sound and vibe than the other 2 shows which were already up there. So check it out and I'll try to get some more shows up there when I can.

If you're interested in Shambhala you can check it out at www.shambhalamusicfestival.com This year will feature our own Gisto,Jimmy,Rahj with other reggae greats from the area in the Koots Roots All Stars (side project) on Sunday at the Beach Stage. Melissa will also be playing with Dj Hoola on Main Stage on Saturday and I'll be hula hoopin in the village for Hoola's set and probably Main Stage. I heard a rumour that they were cappin it at 10,000 this year, so get your tickets!

hello wassabi and extended family,i just wanted to connect with ya briefly...i am in portugal at this moment...and its very surreal...its like 32 degrees out and there is citrus trees everywhere,i love the architecture with its white mediterrean buildings with orange clay shingles...but i love the castles the most ...if you have never been to an 800 yr old castle i highly recommend it.....sometimes i wish i could beam like 10 or 15 friends here and a big bag o liberty caps and just hang out in these castles and maybe act out a play that we wrote...oh well maybe sometime down the road for that...Gisto, my heart and thoughts are with you,you always shine the light so stongly and i am sure you have immense amounts of vibrational support in this hour of challege....melissa i hope you had a good birthday week in september...have fun out east looks like a great run of shows around hallween..think i´ll spend halloween in london....blessings to you all from the land of my heritage....ate logo(see you sometime) Stephen

Evolve concert

Did any of you catch the Wassabi Collective's concert at the Evolve music festival in Antigonish, NS on Saturday night? It blew me away, definitely the highlight of my weekend! They played fantastic music and put on a great show too with fire spinners, hula girls and dancers behind screens. It was very cool!
Thanks guys for a great concert!! I think you mentioned you might be in Halifax for a Halloween show . . . we'd love that! If not, come back soon!

Hey Everybody! Chillin' in Montreal, feelin' very cosmopolitan and ready for tonights show. The east coast run was HARD, yo. The RV has broken down/flailed a tire 7 times (so far), but you know we're a tough bunch and the show must go on! Halifax rocked big time, band and gear screeched in @ 12:15 a.m., just in time to slam the crowd with big funky beats! Sunseekers Ball in New Brunswick rocked as well; a phatty Friday night set and an epic, I mean EPIC sunrise set @ dawn on Saturday. Good times chilling and watching our friends Blue Quarter, Burt Neilson, and Jimmy Swift rock it big time!
Now we're entering the "second phase" of our massive tour, headed into Ontario tomorrow. Spirits are rising after some rest, and we're ready to rock some more. Check the site (wassabi.net) for some new show postings for Guelph and Frontier Town.
That's all for now family and friends. Send us the vibrations, we feel the love and miss you all @ home, and hope to see you some of the tribe on the long road this month!

So, many of you may be familiar with me from parties, fire performances, various sexual astrology posts, or pleas for rides between LA and San Francisco. It's possible that I've talked to (or at!) you about Dream Co(llective) and how I want to establish a travelling higher conscious show with organic food, conscious music, psychedelic art, clothing and cool shit made from recycled materials, along with information on alternative ways to live outside the box, eat healthy, heal yourself naturally, etc. All broadcast by pirate radio/internet radio of course, and transported by bio-diesel buses.
Now, I want to leave every party I throw open to donations, let people pay what they can afford so everyone who wants to, gets to come. If you know me, you know I do my work with astrological guidance and Goddess oracle advice on the same principle, helping people comes first and everything else is secondary. So here's what I'm trying to do...below is a list of some of the skills I have. It's not all of them, just the ones I can think of right now. I've lead a diverse, crazy and highly nomadic lifestyle with one of the strangest array of work skills of anyone I know, so if you need something done, chances are I can do it. I'm offering my skills in exchange for any help at all with making this dream a reality:

-Dog walker
-Horse groomer
-Pirate radio station DJ/owner
-Club DJ
- Medical marijuana work
-Secretary (type 65 words per minute average speed)

I'll be travelling northward soon, hoping to throw the first Dream CO(llective) show on Hornby Island in BC on 4/20. Keep checking the Dream CO(llective) tribe for updates.

Our first show will be no later than June 21st, on the day of 24 hour daylight in either Alaska or the Yukon, currently working out locations for both to see which is most feasible. So money, materials, laptops, transport, equipment (preferably attached to people who want to come and check it out) etc are all good. I'm aware that this is a long shot, but I want all those little places that have no clue what Burning man is all about to have their eyes opened, too. We coastal communities are lucky because we have information sources to enlighten us and open our eyes. I'd like the rest of North America to get that same chance.
